Chapter 28 - Subdomains

For accounts that have this feature, users can log into this area and setup subdomains under their account plan. All subdomains setup through the control panel draw their resources from the parent account plan.

This can be a useful feature if you want people to go to a section of your site, and not use a /directory name. You can make a directory of your site look like this: http://www.directoryname.yourdomain.com
instead of: http://yourdomain.com/directoryname/page.html

This is NOT a feature that allows other users to maintain a section you give them in your site. This is fully controlled and changed with your account user and password, so it is for YOUR personal use only.
We will enable the extra FTP accounts in the near future, for a small fee. This option is not available at this time.
