This feature inside your control panel is pretty self explanatory...

However, the domain look up will show you information about whatever domain you enter.

A trace route, will run a trace from the server to you. This can show you where a problem may be if you are having problems with a slow site. You may see that along the way back to you, a routing point may "time out", or show a very long time. This is off our system, and the only thing that can be done at that point is wait until they find, and fix the problem.
All routing points are monitored, so if there is a problem, they are usually working to fix it before you find it.
